Our Assisted Living residents enjoy spacious, private apartments in a variety of floor plans. Month-to-month rental agreements and Individualized Service plans for health care services ensure you only pay for the health care services you choose and allow flexibility for short or long-term stays.
We’ve spent a lot of time getting to know our residents and what makes them “sparkle.” The Garden’s Memory Care program offers stability, peace of mind and purpose to each day for each individual resident.
We pride ourselves on being leaders in the industry, which means regular training and updates for staff, as well as adapting to the preferences of the residents we serve. Each apartment entrance features a Memory Box that holds special meaning to the resident who lives there and provides valuable cueing opportunities for their visitors and our team members.
Additionally, days are filled with meaningful activities that call upon our residents’ younger years and emphasize purposeful activity. Our programming is led by our Memory Care Coordinator and morphs to meet the changing needs of our residents. Music Speaks is a staple activity in The Gardens, providing music therapy two times per week and allowing residents to come out of their diagnosis during and beyond the session.
If a loved one of yours is living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, please feel free to reach out to us for a tour of The Gardens, and an opportunity to view an activity while you’re here. It would be our pleasure to help your loved one “Embrace Every Moment!”
If you or a loved one is in need of short-term accommodations following an illness or injury, SunnyBrook of Carroll can provide a fully-furnished private apartment during recovery. Respite can also be used when the caregiver for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia is out of town or otherwise obligated. Respite Care charges are assessed at a daily rate and include all amenities a full-time resident of SunnyBrook of Carroll would receive. This includes any personalized health care services.
